WOW! This started out as a Church Anniversary event and look what God has done. The experience of The Struggle has been breathtaking for me. I want to say it's not in the music it's in the message but the music is the deliverer of the message. The issues that are addressed are done in a THINK ON THESE THINGS kinda way. As the actors give life to the lyrics of the songs right before your eyes your not sure if your still in a theater seat or actually in hell, at the park, at a peace rally for Trayvon Martin, in the doctors office, or in the local bar. The scenes jerk you into your own reality and awareness. You leave the theater thinking I need to work on somethings, I need to get rid of somethings or maybe even someone. It's a blessing be apart of something so dynamic, so crucial to my soul salvation and that of others. Working with the cast has been a joyous, crazy, loving experience. We've grown together in so many ways some we probably wont even realize for years to come. Our close net, open, honest non-judgmental relationships were developed and kept by God, after all this is HIS ministry, HIS doing. Although The Struggle has booked my Saturdays & nights, Ashley has blown up my phone with calls and text, she's filled my inbox with emails. I'd do it again in a heartbeat, because like me, like you, someone is STRUGGLING and it is my prayer that they will find the relief of Christ Jesus who's the only one that can ease or end THE STRUGGLE! He did it for me!!! I wouldn't take nothing for my journey, well maybe better shoes for the aftermath. HAHAHAHAHA LET'S GO YATMBC ~ God's got something for us ta do.

This experience has thought me a lot about myself. I learned to think & live outside the box. I also learned that if I dont except me for who I am then how do I except others to follow suit.
